PetsDx Veterinary Imaging, Inc. is an innovative group of individuals experienced in both veterinary medicine and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). President, Glenn Matamoros

Glenn is a highly skilled operations manager.  Prior to PetsDx, Glenn worked as an Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Co..  A former Navy SEAL, Glenn graduated from the University of Maryland and received his MBA from The Wharton School.  His experience includes a wide range of industries and functions, including working with human hospitals to improve their performance and customer service.

CEO, Currie Crookston

Currie is an expert in diagnostic imaging technology.  An engineer, most recently he was a director at an MRI manufacturing company that won the 2004 Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award.  Currie grew up on a ranch and became a Navy SEAL after graduating from The U. S. Naval Academy.  He received his MBA from University of Virginia.

Dr. Gerald Frye - Medical Director, Pittsburgh

Dr. Frye is a Pennsylvania native, born and raised on a dairy farm in Westmoreland County. His love, compassion and care for animals began as a small child and continues today. Dr. Frye joins PetsDx having over 15 years of clinical experience. After graduating from The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, he joined the PA Dept. of Agriculture as a state veterinarian for one year. Over the past fifteen years, Dr. Frye has worked for several small animal and mixed animal veterinary practices in many capacities. His interests include internal medicine, neurology, anesthesiology and radiology. Dr. Frye has also completed advanced training in veterinary neurology and anesthesiology. He is dedicated to the continuing advancement of animal imaging and improving diagnostic capabilities for the veterinary community.

Dr. Wesley A. Eans - Medical Director, Vienna, VA

Dr. Eans has lived nearly his entire life in the vicinity of Washington, D.C. and now resides with his wife, Dr. Allen, in Northern Virginia. After receiving his Bachelor’s of Science in microbiology and biochemistry from the University of Maryland, he worked as a civilian doing protein chemistry for the U.S. Army at the Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease, Fort Detrick, Maryland. Later, he entered the U.S. Navy as a pilot and traveled the world extensively doing arctic, magnetic and oceanographic research. He graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 while working for the University’s Center for Molecular Medicine and Infectious Disease doing vaccine research. Dr. Eans initially practiced in large multidisciplinary referral hospitals and joined the PetsDx team in 2009 after a sabbatical as a commercial airline pilot. In the field of veterinary medicine he has particular interest in ophthalmology, anesthesiology, and radiology; and he also enjoys aviation. He is committed to furthering the health and well being of animals by providing the advanced imaging service necessary to diagnose and treat disease.
